I can make a special engraved slate with your pet on it, and I think that is really cool. You can choose your dog breed, or you can pick a cat, horse, or another animal you love. Also, I will do my very best to make a slate that makes you happy. I want you to feel proud when you see your pet on the slate.

Choose Your Pet Design

You get to choose the picture you want. Some people pick their dog breed. Others choose a cat or a horse. Sometimes people even ask for birds or other animals. I like all of those ideas. Next, I take the picture you choose and get it ready for engraving. I make sure it looks clear so it will show up nicely on the slate.

Hand‑Collected Slate Pieces

All of the slates I use come from the creek near our summer camp. I collect them myself. Some are smooth, and some are bumpy. Also, each one has its own shape. I keep them the way I find them because it makes every slate one‑of‑a‑kind. That means your pet slate will be totally unique.

Engraving Your Pet

After I clean the slate and get your picture ready, I put it into my X‑Tool engraving machine. Then I line everything up so the picture is in the perfect spot. The machine does the engraving, but I watch it the whole time. It is fun to see your pet appear on the slate. When it is done, I add a clear protective coat to keep the engraving safe. Sometimes I even hand‑paint parts of the slate to make it extra special.
